How to Make Organic Toothpaste at Home

We don’t really think about saving the environment or caring for our health when we brush our teeth. It’s a daily routine that we take up without giving too much thought to it. We should take into consideration that we are brushing our teeth with parabens, petroleum, synthetic flavorings, mineral oil, propylene glycol and synthetic fragrances. That doesn’t sound too healthy anymore. Commercial toothpaste might also be tested on animals, which is another reason to avoid purchasing them. The chemicals used in toothpaste are actually responsible for drying out tissues in the mouth and possibly lead to canker sores. An excess of fluoride can even cause causer or renal or kidney failure, amongst other things. Did you know that some chemicals found in mouthwashes can also be found in bathroom disinfectants?
Why don’t you try making your own organic toothpaste at home? It is easier than you think and you can avoid buying the tube made of plastic which is another relief for the environment and one less product made of plastic.
Take a look at the following video and you will see how easy it is to make your own toothpaste at home and safe money doing it!
